About Me

I'm Nick, a Belgian guy, and you have appearently reached my webspace where I experiment sometimes so don't be surprised if not everything is working..!

You can easily find more about me by googling Nick Veenhof or my nickname Nick_vh. I have obtained a Master in Information and Technology in Barcelona - which I must say is a wonderful city!

I'm also advocating Open Source and especially the Open Source project Drupal. This software came close to me during my Bachelor at Kaho Sint-Lieven and got even closer when I started to work for Krimson Drupal Architects. During my current studies I'm also aiding a drupal company called Ateneatech and AtSistemas with the development of drupal sites. Elsevier Spain Was one of these sites I've helped building. Containing over 2 million nodes and an extensive Apache Solr search engine.

I've succesfully completed my internship @ Acquia company where I helped in the renewal of the Apache Solr project and supporting the feature request of people. Such as multiple environments, new UI, code cleanup, load testing, etc! I'm happy to announce that they have offered me a position in their HQ (headquarters) as Drupal Engineer in the Network team which I accepted!

Also I'm active in the community as you can see in my drupal.org profile.

If you would like to contact me, please drop me a line.
